Il posto giusto per visitare la Corsica del Sud e soggiornare in totale relax.
Siamo stati una settimana nella camera Baldaquin. La struttura è meravigliosa ed è evidente, osservando ogni particolare, che la casa è stata curata personalmente, con vero amore dai proprietari. Scegliere questo lato dell'isola arrivando dall'Italia è sicuramente più impegnativo, visto che non ci sono navi italiane che arrivano ad Ajaccio e per arrivare da Bastia a qui in auto servono tre ore, ma la meta vale lo sforzo. L'edificio è stupendo e la nostra camera aveva un bellissimo affaccio sulla vallata circostante. Il villaggio è relativamente comodo a diversi punti di interesse, sia di mare che di montagna e nel raggio di 5 km ci sono parecchie opzioni per mangiare. La città più vicina (Ajaccio) offre vita notturna e divertimento, ma se si desidera dormire al fresco (anche in Agosto!) con silenzio e tranquillità vale la pena di spostarsi e di raggiungere questo splendido rifugio. Elisabeth e Dominique sono quotidianamente disponibilissimi a segnalare le mete più interessanti della zona, sempre discreti ma presenti. La colazione in giardino è un bellissimo modo di cominciare la giornata. Inoltre la presenza della piscina offre l'opzione di concedersi un giorno di break dalle escursioni e passare la giornata a Campo.
Siamo davvero felici di aver scoperto la Corsica e fortunati di averlo fatto soggiornando in questo posto bellissimo -

Herzliche Gastgeber, geniales Häuschen
Die Gastgeber geben einem super Tipps für Wanderungen und Ausflüge, das Haus ist liebevoll renoviert, der Pool ist fein und es wurde an alles gedacht: Kühlschrank, Wäscheleine, man kann sogar Sonnenschirme für den Strand ausleihen!
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder! -

Something really extraordinary
We have spent in Chatelet de Campo wonderful 10 days holiday. Everything was absoloutely perfect. The room Suite is the best that the Chatelet can offer to you. It´s a pity that I can not give more than 5 staars :-) -

Heerlijk ontspannen, gemoedelijke en ongedwongen sfeer.
De gastvrouw was fantastisch en gaf veel informatie over Corsica en de omgeving. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en biologisch met producten uit de streek. -

Charme et tranquillité proche d’Ajaccio
Elisabeth et Dominique nous ont merveilleusement reçus dans leur belle maison. Tout fut parfait, l‘accueil, la chambre, le jardin, la piscine, la nature environnante, le petit déjeuner.
Suivant les conseils avisés d’Elisabeth nous avons diné un soir à l’Auberge Napoléon de Cauro qui est un peu éloignée mais qui mérite certainement cette route. -

Exceptionnel
Sehr charmante und auskunfstfreudige Gastgeber, tolles Ambiente!Großartiger Ausgangspunkt, um Wanderungen zu machen (Berge! Küste!), aber auch, um einfach mal einen Tag am Pool zu genießen! Herrlich auch das Lokal 'U Castagnu' , 10 Min. entfernt, wo man den Einheimischen beim Petanquespielen zuschauen und eine Super-Pizza genießen kann. Für Schlemmer gibt's die Ferme-Auberge "U Taravu' - man muss aber wirklich Hunger mitbringen, das Menu hat's in sich (Wildschwein- Maronenterrine!!)! -

Wonderful accomodations
We spent 4 nights at this picture perfect BnB. We stayed in the suite, and it was WONDERFUL! We explored the area, and hiked the nearby mountains. The owners are very knowledge about the area, and provided us with maps of the various hiking routes. This part of Corsica is very beautiful. Looking over the countryside at the mountains with the green trees and blue sky was breathtaking. We enjoyed relaxing at the pool also. The breakfast was served outside, under an awning to provide shade and was very filling and delicious with homemade breads and jams, yogurt, lots of fresh fruits, juice, cheese and delicious coffee. I would definitely recommend this lodging. You will love it. -

Fabulous
Amazing, stylish, countryside chatelet for all appreciating the beauty of Corsican mountains and views. Delicious organic breakfast from local producers only another asset. This place brings you back in time... Once a life time experience. -

A fairytale visit
My partner and I didn’t really read into Corsica, which maybe made us the only two on the island. We also didn’t know about the long distances, so when arriving to Chatelet de Campo, we found out that most of the highlights of the islands take at least half an hour to get there. The inland of Corsica is worth the travel and it’s actually a good place to stay if you want to discover the south part of Corsica, because it’s so central.
We really enjoyed the quietness of the region en the hospitality of the owners. For us “dutchies” it was convenient that we could speak Dutch with Elizabeth and English with Dominique. They gave us all the information we needed; from where to eat to what to see (including roadmaps, brochures and even a reservation for our Scandola trip). Every morning we woke up in the most green atmosphere with a healthy French breakfast with lots of fruits (she even makes her own jams!). The rooms where spacious enough for the both of us and were cleaned everyday.
Sometimes it felt like we were the only ones on the island, so peaceful it was out there. If you want to go to Corsica, for short stay or long stay, we would definitely recommend Chatelet de Campo. -

Une expérience unique au Coeur de la Corse
Il s'agissait de notre première expérience en chambre d'hôtes, et nous n'avons pas été déçus de notre semaine au châtelet !
Les hôtes, Elisabeth et Dominique sont très accueillants, sympathiques et de très bon conseil pour découvrir le moindre recoin de la région.
La demeure, restaurée dans le respect de son histoire, est décorée avec goût.
Les chambres, très propres et subtilement décorées, sont équipées de tout le confort nécessaire.
Le superbe jardin qui entoure la propriété a été conçu avec passion par Dominique qui l'entretient avec soin au quotidien.
Joli espace piscine, agréable et bien aménagé.
Petit-déjeuner maison, à base de produits locaux et bio.
En bref, une adresse à recommander les yeux fermés ! -

Great service and lovely hosts
We enjoyed two days in this nice chatelet with wonderful views and a very clean pool. Like the other reviews here we can highly recommend this place for your vacation, if you prefer quiet areas and country views. We loved the breakfast with homemade bread and good coffee! Séjour 4 jours
Accueil remarquable avec Elisabeth et Dominique! Nous avons passé 4 jours dans un décor de palais ! Aux petits oignons , par nos hôtes ! Confort, silence, paix, un vrai paradis. Vite vite on y retournera ! -

Encore un merveilleux séjour au Châtelet de Campo
Malgré le temps maussade ( première fois depuis 12 ans), nous avons passe encore une fois un excellent séjour dans cette superbe maison entourée de son jardin naturel. Nous retrouvons toujours avec grand plaisir Élisabeth et Dominique, très attentionnés avec leurs visiteurs et leurs bons conseils . Nous apprécions beaucoup aussi leurs petits déjeuners confectionnés avec des produits de qualité et bio.
C'est pour nous un endroit incontournable en Corse, ou nous ne manquons pas de revenir chaque année. -

Chatelet de Campo is a great B&B to stay a few days in Corsica, You can stay there as a support point for one day visits to several places, such as Porto Ota, "Aguilles" of Bavela, Propriano, very interesting archaeological sites and others beautifull small towns. Other option is to spend some days in own hotel to a true relax. The building and site are gorgeous and the famkly service, irreproachable.
